From Pinnochio, Cinderella, snow white and countless of Disney films, the most prominent content ever stolen from another source happened in 1994 with the release of The Lion King. The content Disney stole without any shame is the 1960’s animated show ‘Kimba: The white lion’, An animated show based on the manga of the same name released a decade prior. The lion king is frame by frame the exact same thing, what Disney thought in 1994 (at the time) was that since it is virtually impossible for american audiences to ever watch a japanese show from the 60’s, a show forgotten between generations and separated by technology (back in 1994 there was no google and no Netflix), so Disney took advantage of the continental and lenguage barrier differences, seeing themselves into a gold mine decided to copy and paste Kimba. Many american critics and Disney Supporters deny such claims (of course they will) that’s bullshit, once you watch Kimba (the whole 50+ episodes) you will never see Disney the same way. The lion king: ⭐️⭐️ out of 5 (Expropriation of content is as illegal as selling pirate dvds, Disney also lost a lawsuit regarding Frozen, in case you don’t know).
